Roland 6000006826 Overview
Roland part 6000006826, ASSY,PUMP SUB SV3 CG2076, is the cleaning ink pump for the TrueVIS SG2-300, SG2-540 and SG2-640 printer/cutters, the VG-640, VG2-540 and VG2-640 printers and the VF2-640. It is also used on the TrueVIS LG-300 / LG-540 / LG-640 UV printer/cutters, the VersaOBJECT MO-240, the UG-642 and the ER-641 and ER-642. This is a genuine, original Roland part – not a copy or compatible replacement.
The pump is connected to the cap tops in the maintenance station. When a cleaning starts, it creates the suction that pulls ink and air out of the heads and sends waste ink to the drain bottle. A failing pump produces weak cleanings, nozzles that refuse to recover, ink pooling in the caps and waste ink that no longer reaches the bottle. Because the pump is a moving wear part, it is worth replacing on high-volume machines.
