Original Roland XC-540 / XJ-740 / SP-540i / VS-640i Ink Pump Assembly – 6700319010

The ASSY,PUMP SUB XC-540 (part number 6700319010) is the ink pump assembly mounted under the capping station of a large family of Roland printers. It was introduced on the SOLJET XC-540 and is shared with the XJ and SJ series, VersaCAMM SP, VP and VS printer/cutters, VersaEXPRESS RA-640 and RE-640, VersaUV LEC-300 and several later models. This is a genuine, original Roland part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

During head cleaning, the pump creates suction through the cap top to pull ink, air and debris out of the nozzles, then sends the waste ink to the drain bottle. A weak or failed pump means cleanings no longer recover nozzles, ink sits in the cap instead of draining, or the waste bottle stays empty. Replacing the pump is often the fix when new dampers and cap tops have not solved missing nozzles.
