This listing is for the cap top 6000007616 (ASSY,CAP TOP SV2 CG2183) as fitted to the Roland VersaOBJECT MO-240 and MO-180, the UV flatbed printers used to decorate promotional items, phone cases, awards and packaging. Roland uses the same cap top on the TrueVIS LG series UV printer/cutters and the UG-642. This is a genuine, original Roland part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

On an object printer the heads spend a lot of time parked between short jobs, so the capping station does important work. The cap top seals the heads to protect the nozzles and allows the cleaning pump to draw UV ink through them. A worn, cracked or ink-crusted cap leads to weak cleanings, nozzles that will not come back, ink leaking into the service area and unstable nozzle checks at the start of the day. A new cap top restores a tight seal.
