Original Roland VS-640i / RF-640 / LEF-300 / BN-20 Pump & Wiper Motor – 22435106

Roland part number 22435106, MOTOR,SH1421-5042, is a small motor used in the maintenance station of many Roland printers, where it drives the ink pump and the wiper. It is shared by the VersaCAMM VS and VS-i series, the VersaEXPRESS RF-640, RA-640, RE-640 and RT-640, the VersaUV LEF-12, LEF-20, LEF-300, LEC-330, LEC-540 and LEC2-300, the VersaSTUDIO BN-20, the TrueVIS SG-300 and SG-540 and the FP-740. This is a genuine, original Roland part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

When this motor weakens, head maintenance suffers first. The pump may no longer pull ink through the caps, the wiper may stop moving or move only part of the way, cleanings stop recovering nozzles and the printer can report a pump, wiper or motor error during start-up or cleaning. Because the motor is inexpensive, replacing it is often the quickest way to bring the maintenance station back to life.
